Ethelbert Eze

Data Engineer

Ethelbert supports clinical and academic staff across the Trust with research data collection, and transformation. This includes through forms, genomic data extraction from a typical PDF genomic report to CSVs, and further transformation of these data elements to the current fast healthcare interoperability resource (FHIR). Ethelbert builds backend pipeline systems for the data collection and translation to FHIR. Ethelbert has worked on a collaborative project between GOSH and four other children's hospitals around the world called iPCHIP. This focused on genomic data engineering. He has a PhD in Machine learning, MSc in Satellite Communications, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering.
