Jaskaran Singh Kawatra

Jasakaran joined the DRIVE team as a Machine Learning Engineer in July 2024. He holds an MSc in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow and has previously worked at American Express.

He has experience in NLP, specifically deploying Large Language Models and smaller language models in resource constrained environments. He also has experience in building Machine Learning infrastructure both on premise and cloud to support AI capabilities within an organization. His interests lie in being able to use advancements in NLP and Computer Vision to deploy ethical and effective healthcare solutions to augment human decision making.
