Ed is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist at GOSH

"Data-led innovation is key to providing the best possible care and research. As a paediatric gastroenterologist I often work with patients with complex conditions where effective management requires joining up of clinical information. As an Innovation Officer, I hope to develop tools to assist with risk stratification of patients with complex underlying conditions.   

Working with CIU team, I’d like to improve mapping of care pathways across our providers, so that we can better understand patient pathways. I’m also keen to optimise tools that can be used for multiple teams, to get key information from our clinical systems to allow real time evaluation of patients at GOSH. In this role I will advocate for innovation and share learnings within GOSH."
